Scissortail CDC hosts 3 festivals with 100% of the proceeds going back to help support Academia OKC programming.

OKC Cinco de Mayo Festival
The OKC Cinco de Mayo Festival is one of the largest Hispanic events of the year! OKCCDM is a FREE outdoor festival for the whole family celebrating the anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, OKC’s sisterhood with the City of Puebla, MX, and the unity of all communities in Oklahoma. The festivities include live music from local and International touring artists, parade of horses, folkloric dancing, the crowning of Miss Cinco de Mayo, and activities for children. In 2019, the festival will feature an arts market with performances by Academia OKC students! Festival goers receive great gifts from sponsors and vendors, delicious food and much more! All proceeds from the event directly benefit Academia OKC in-school and after-school cultural arts programs. Sponsorship levels are available ranging from $1,500 to $12,000. Fiestas Patrias Festival 2019
This spectacular event celebrates Mexican Independence Day featuring internationally known recording artists and a special ceremony called “El Grito” led by the Consul of Mexico for Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee, Mr. Rodolfo Quilantan-Arenas. FPF is a great opportunity for Oklahomans to celebrate the richness of Mexican culture and heritage with food, drinks, business expo, activities for children, and many other attractions. 2020 Anita Martinez Mariachi Festival

The Anita Martinez Mariachi Festival is multi-day, bi-annual event celebrating Hispanic culture, music and dancing.
The 2020 version of the festival will start with a gala evening concert featuring grammy award-winning Mariachi Camperos from Los Angeles, California in a joint performance with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The second leg of the festival will include mariachi student workshops, performances, and a visual arts exhibitions.
Concluding with a performance by Grammy Award Winners, Mariachi Divas at OCCC May 5, 2020.
Sponsorship levels are available from $1,500-$12,000.
